ACOFUN is a national association of forest users which advocates for collaborative forestry users groups’ rights at local, regional and national level. ACOFUN’s main focus is on to manage block forest in a sustainable way to fulfill the needs of entire users i.e. close, mid and distant. Its membership has been extended mainly in the terai districts covering numerous people from rural-based farmers i.e. men, women, old and young.
